Ford Mustang Shelby Gt500KR is the most famous and effective car produced by Ford. It was revealed at New York International Auto Show of 2007 and was released in 2008. This charged car was featured in the highly anticipated Knight Rider TV series as K.I.T.T. (Knight Industries Three Thousand).

The new Knight Industries Three Thousand or KITT, as it was known in the series, presented a Ford Mustang Shelby GT500KR which sported a hybrid engine of 550-horsepower, sports suspension, Xenon headlamps, high speed world wide web connection, military satellite access, remote access, metallic paint, biomedical scanner, voice activated GPS, and other high tech features and gadgetry.

Along with a Ford Racing Power Upgrade Pack, the Ford Mustang Shelby GT500KR included a 5.4 liter V8 engine. The car also contained perfect suspension tuning, alloy wheels (18-inch), carbon composite hood, and a special style inspired from standard Shelby Mustangs.

Ford Mustang Shelby GT500KR has an aluminum and titanium body that gives a perfect look to the car. The car's V8 internal combustion engine comes with a Whipple supercharger. The car could run from 0 - 60 mph in merely 1.77 seconds and can also travel a fourth of a mile within 3.87 seconds.
