Range Rover Evoque to Launch After the much success of the Land Rover's flagship Range Rover Evoque, which took the prestigious brand into the compact world of sports utility vehicle, it is planning to open up its premium SUV line to a new breed of customers by lowering the prices of its base model by $2000 in 2013. The Evoque which made its global debut at the 2010 Paris Motor Show, sold more than 80,000 units prior to the first year of its production and near about 6,000 units this year itself.

Eton to test ride Nissan Leaf

The premium auto importer Eton Import Company will test-drive the world's first 100% electric vehicle (EV) the Nissan Leaf with Nissan Motor Thailand (NMT), as both need to give it in Thailand.

Eton wants to see how nicely the Leaf performs and how convenient it can be in urban areas, too as investigating its maintenance.

"I want to try the new technology as there are many questions in my mind about the vehicle," said Eton Import managing director Peerasut Tantiyankul. Eton wants to study the viability of importing the car and its particular maintenance.
